Delta will stop its Stewart flights as of May 13. The airline said the suspension will last at least until September as it “continues to evaluate overall network needs."
“These changes will allow more of our frontline employees to minimize their COVID-19 exposure risk while ensuring convenient access to Delta’s network [at other airports] for those who must travel,” the airline said in a prepared statement.
Delta continues to fly in and out of the Albany airport and the three New York City-area airports, though it is suspending service at Westchester County Airpor... in White Plains, also through at least September.
Overall, Delta has announced an 80 percent reduction in its second-quarter flights in the United States and a 90 percent cut in international flights.
