Yurchak, 22, was traded from the Chicago White Sox to the Los Angeles Dodgers in November. His new club assigned him to the Ogden Raptors of the rookie Pioneer League, which didn’t start play until June 14.
Smacking four home runs in his four games, including two in the opener, third baseman Yurchak is hitting .368 through his first 10 games. He has four homers, three doubles, 15 runs, 12 RBI and 10 walks.
A 12th-round pick by the White Sox in 2017, Yurchak has a .500 on-base percentage and 1.263 OPS.
Johnson City graduate Clark is 1-0 with a 2.97 ERA and six saves...for Mobile BayBears, Double-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels.
A 25-year-old right-hander, Clark has thrown 30 1/3 innings, allowing 25 hits, 10 earned runs. He has 39 strikeouts and nine walks.
On Wednesday, Clark threw 1 1/3 scoreless innings and had three strikeouts against Birmingham.
A Vestal graduate, Osinski has spent all but four games on the injured list in his third pro season.
He was hitting .385 for the Single-A Salem Red Sox of the Carolina League before the injury.
A 23-year-old first baseman, Osinski was drafted in the 31st round by Boston in 2017.
Chenango Valley graduate Topa has split time in the Brewers’ organization between Double-A Biloxi and Single-A Carolina this season, compiling an 0-2 record with a 2.20 ERA over 16 1/3 innings.
The 28-year-old right-hander was assigned to the Single-A Mudcats on June 3. Since then, he’s 0-1 with a 3.86 ERA. He hasn’t allowed an earned run over his last six appearances, striking out eight over 6 2/3 innings during that span.
The ugliness has continued for 2007 Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow in his third professional season.
Tebow, a 31-year-old outfielder, hit .273 with six homers last season for the Double-A Binghamton Rumble Ponies and earned a spot in the Eastern League All-Star game.
But in 60 games this season for the Triple-A Syracuse Mets, Tebow is hitting .150 with one homer and 76 strikeouts.
Tebow hit a two-run double against Pawtucket on Wednesday, but over his last 10 games he’s gone 3-for-26 with seven strikeouts.
